To-ji Temple: An Exclusive Visit to a World Heritage Site

To-ji Temple's five-story pagoda holds the distinction of being Japan's tallest wooden structure. The stunning combination of the pagoda with the autumn leaves perfectly exemplifies the beauty of Kyoto in autumn. Kondo Hall (National Treasure, Normally Closed to the Public)
The Kondo Hall, relocated from Kyoto Imperial Palace, is the oldest surviving Shishinden (ceremonial hall) that preserves the architectural style of palace buildings from the Momoyama period.
The World of Pure Land Paradise
Inside the Kondo Hall, a breathtaking depiction of Pure Land paradise spans the width of the interior. The central statues of the Amida Triad enhance the beauty of this magnificent space.
Goten (Registered Tangible Cultural Property)

Concept Dining at a KAWADOKO (NORYO YUKA) is one of the perfect ways to make the most of your summer in Kyoto, where you can enjoy meals in the cool breeze blowing across the water. The outdoor tables of restaurants facing riversides are in the Kamogawa, Kibune and Takao, each area offering a different scenery, together with each restaurant’s specialties. Enjoy dining in the special atmosphere, arranged with easy access.

Kibune Plan at HIROYA
The seating is set up immediately on the water surface for Riverside Dining at Kibune. The sensible temperature is said to be 10℃ lower than in central Kyoto, making it a popular summer resort.
Takao Plan at MOMIJIYA
Takao area, about an hour ride from the city center, is surrounded by green maple. The Kawadoko is characterized by roofs, where you can enjoy a resort atmosphere, different from other Kawadoko areas.
Kamogawa Plan at SATSUKI
Kawadoko in Kamogawa is one of the most scenic as you get a panoramic view of the river. Located in the downtown with excellent access, explore the area after enjoying the traditional Japanese cuisine.
